Role Overview
We are seeking a Data Analyst - Credit to contribute to the analytics throughout the credit product lifecycle, encompassing product design, credit acquisition, portfolio management, collections, and profit & loss analysis. This role is situated within the Decision Science team and reports to the Credit Risk Analytics Lead.
Main Responsibilities
- Analyze performance metrics to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Refine credit policies and manage rule-based decision engines.
- Develop profit and loss forecasts to inform strategic choices.
- Conduct credit limit assignments and affordability evaluations.
- Perform score cut-off analysis to enhance approval and risk strategies.
- Monitor and improve collection strategies based on customer insights.
- Design and execute A/B tests for lending and collections optimization.
- Deliver actionable insights and recommendations to senior management.
Requirements
- Degree in a mathematical field (e.g., Mathematics, Statistics, Physics).
- At least 3 years of experience as a Quantitative or Data Analyst in financial services or fintech.
- Proficient in SQL; experience with Python or R.
- Familiarity with statistical tests for A/B testing.
- Skilled in developing and maintaining analytical reports and dashboards.
- Ability to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.
