We are seeking a full-time video editor within the Central Time Zone of the US. This position is ideal for a junior to mid-level editor, or a junior editor ready to advance their skills. Candidates should already possess editing experience, as formal training will not be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

Edit both long-form and short-form internal training videos.
Create a variety of content, including cinematic edits, talking-head videos, and podcast-style material.

Qualifications:

Proficient in using DaVinci Resolve for video editing.
Strong command of the English language with an eye for spotting spelling and grammar errors in captions.
Attention to detail and a commitment to producing clean, accurate work.
A good sense of pacing and storytelling ability.
Effective time management skills with a track record of meeting deadlines.
Proactive communication regarding potential delays.
Ability to independently manage projects and implement feedback professionally.
Preference for focused work rather than handling multiple unrelated projects.

Work Environment:

This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) with a steady workload.
No time tracking; we trust you to manage your schedule and meet deadlines.
Weekly check-ins will help align objectives and tasks.
Daily communication will occur via Google Chat, requiring responsiveness during Central Time hours.

Compensation is provided bi-monthly through Wise, with a performance review after three months that may lead to a pay increase based on your contributions. We are looking for a dependable and proactive individual who can consistently deliver high-quality work.
