Role Overview:

We are looking for a Head of Platform Engineering to lead the development of our scalable and secure platform. Reporting to the CTO, you will manage a small team of DevOps Engineers and be responsible for our platform strategy while actively engaging in the technical aspects of the role.

Main Responsibilities:

Ensure infrastructure reliability and maintain high uptime for critical systems.
Lead priority infrastructure projects, defining roadmaps for success.
Develop and implement innovative platform strategies using tools like Terraform and Kubernetes.
Provide hands-on technical leadership, setting quality benchmarks for code and architecture.
Foster team growth through mentorship and recruitment.
Implement security practices and maintain compliance with industry standards.
Enhance developer experiences and optimize deployment processes.
Manage costs effectively and improve incident response protocols.

Requirements:

Proven experience in platform engineering with cloud infrastructure expertise.
Strong leadership skills and proactive problem-solving ability.
Demonstrated success in executing complex infrastructure projects.
Experience in the cryptocurrency space is preferred.
Exceptional communication skills for cross-team collaboration.
