We are seeking a Design Lead to oversee the quality and consistency of design at Bayse. As a key player in our prediction market and trading platform, your work will be crucial in fostering trust, clarity, and engagement among users. This role demands a versatile design generalist with proven leadership abilities who can guide the team while maintaining high standards of excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Establish Design Vision: Define and promote a cohesive design philosophy that aligns with our objectives and values across all platforms.
Develop Brand Systems: Create a scalable brand framework and guidelines to ensure uniformity across digital, print, and marketing mediums.
Enhance User Experience: Lead the design of user-friendly interfaces and experiences for both web and mobile applications.
Deliver High-Impact Visuals: Oversee the creation of compelling graphics, illustrations, and layouts for various platforms.
Team Leadership: Mentor designers, uphold craft standards, and foster an environment conducive to creativity and productivity.
Collaborate Across Teams: Work with leadership and cross-functional teams to align design strategies with business goals.
Gather Feedback: Incorporate stakeholder and user feedback to refine design work while balancing aesthetics and usability.
Stay Informed: Keep abreast of the latest design trends and technologies to maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications:

5+ years in design, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role.
Strong portfolio showcasing brand and product design.
Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Suite; motion design skills are advantageous.
Solid understanding of UX/UI principles and the ability to balance design with functionality.
Excellent communication skills for effective stakeholder management.
Experience in fast-paced environments and comfort with multiple projects.
Knowledge of prediction markets or financial design is a plus.
