Job Summary

The main focus of this role is to transform our extensive corporate webinars into concise, high-quality videos suitable for social media sharing. This is a six-month remote contract designed for individuals skilled at converting lengthy recordings into engaging short-form content.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze long-form webinars to identify valuable clips and key insights.
Edit these clips into engaging, polished short videos optimized for platforms such as YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and LinkedIn.
Ensure all videos meet high standards for visual and audio quality, incorporating color correction, seamless transitions, and accurate captions.
Focus on audience retention by utilizing hooks, text animations, and creative pacing to enhance views and shares.
Maintain a reliable monthly content calendar to ensure consistent video publication without compromising quality.
Collaborate with marketing and project teams to ensure alignment with brand messaging and campaign goals.

Requirements & Qualifications

Demonstrated experience as a Video Editor or Content Creator with a portfolio showcasing transformations from long-form to short-form content.
Expertise in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
Ability to distill complex webinar content into compelling narratives for social media.
Strong attention to editing styles, typography, timing, and sound design.
Self-motivated and able to work independently within a remote framework while meeting deadlines.
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration.
