Staff Designer

Join Cleric as we develop an autonomous AI agent designed to investigate and resolve production incidents efficiently. Our solution, already operational in large-scale companies, offers a unique challenge for designers, as the interfaces for AI agents are yet to be established. You will tackle intriguing questions about cultivating trust in autonomous systems and presenting complex reasoning in an accessible manner.

Role Overview: You will take charge of design across various aspects including brand, web presence, marketing, and product interfaces. With our brand still evolving, you will play a key role in shaping its identity rather than merely executing existing concepts. Collaborating with a creative director on strategy and a development team for execution, the design choices will ultimately be yours.

Main Responsibilities:

• Define and refine Cleric's visual identity, encompassing illustration styles, typography, and design systems.
• Collaborate with the product team to design user interfaces focused on AI interactions.
• Create promotional materials for events and campaigns.
• Produce technical diagrams that clearly convey complex systems.
• Design landing pages and marketing content aimed at technical audiences.
• Iterate rapidly with the founders and team to refine your work.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in visual and product design.
• A portfolio demonstrating work in B2B SaaS or developer tools.
• Strong visual representation skills for abstract technical concepts.
• Experience with design systems in Figma.
• Collaborative and iterative working style.
• Curiosity about engineers' perspectives and expectations in design.
