Role Overview: We are on the lookout for a Senior Frontend Engineer on a freelance basis to improve our frontend architecture. This remote role is ideal for candidates with extensive experience in leading migration initiatives and a strong background in modern React development.
Main Responsibilities:
- Oversee the migration of legacy frontend applications to React utilizing TanStack Router.
- Design and implement scalable frontend architectures while following contemporary best practices.
- Collaborate with backend teams to create and optimize GraphQL integrations.
- Set and maintain frontend coding standards and best practices.
- Provide mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers on React and performance optimization techniques.
- Work alongside product, design, and backend teams to improve overall user experiences.
- Conduct code reviews to enhance development processes.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in frontend development, with a minimum of 3 years focused on React.
- Demonstrated success in migrating applications to React, particularly with TanStack Router.
- Proficiency in GraphQL and its associated libraries.
- Solid understanding of React best practices and modern state management.
- Familiarity with TypeScript and frontend build tools.
