As a Backend Developer, your primary responsibility will be to design, build, and scale our innovative neobank infrastructure using Golang. You will be integral in developing our core banking, payments, and multi-currency systems that serve thousands of customers worldwide. Your role will involve collaboration with Product, Compliance, and Infrastructure teams to ensure our systems are robust, secure, and ready to support rapid innovations in regulated financial settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of scalable backend systems focusing on performance and regulatory compliance.
- Create microservices for multi-currency accounts, card issuance, and cross-border payments.
- Work with product and compliance teams to incorporate KYC, AML, and transaction monitoring into systems.
- Establish API design standards for integrations with various financial services.
- Mentor mid/senior engineers and uphold engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with SRE and DevOps to enhance system observability and reliability.
- Conduct technical design reviews and influence the product roadmap.
Requirements:
- 7+ years in backend engineering, with 3+ years in Golang.
- Experience in a neobank or fintech environment.
- Strong knowledge of distributed systems and microservices.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and container orchestration.
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration in a global team.
