Role Overview
As the AML Ops Lead - Transaction Monitoring, you will lead our Compliance Operations team, ensuring trust in every transaction. This position involves managing a team of 5 to 6 AML analysts while being the go-to person for complex investigations. You will balance regulatory compliance with user experience to facilitate sustainable growth in our fintech operations.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of AML analysts, promoting a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
- Oversee the investigation of alerts related to suspicious activities, ensuring thorough documentation.
- Conduct quality assurance reviews of investigations and manage team performance metrics.
- Identify and address operational inefficiencies through process improvements and technology integration.
- Engage with stakeholders on complex cases and keep the team updated on regulatory changes.
- Proactively escalate issues related to high-risk cases or operational weaknesses.
Requirements
- 4-6 years of AML or compliance operations experience.
- Experience in transaction monitoring or financial crime investigations.
- Proven leadership in managing and coaching analysts.
- Familiarity with OFAC, FCA, and FINTRAC regulations.
- Strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
