Role Overview:

Main Responsibilities:
- Develop a robust pipeline of investment opportunities via proactive outreach and networking.
- Lead initial investment assessments, including screening and structuring.
- Negotiate term sheets and oversee legal documentation processes.
- Analyze financial statements, business plans, and financial models.
- Prepare and present investment proposals to internal committees.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure strategic alignment.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, investors, and development partners.
- Represent BIO Invest at industry events and contribute insights on market trends.
- Mentor junior team members and foster knowledge sharing.
Requirements:
Master's degree in Finance or Economics (CFA or CPA is advantageous), 5–6 years of investment experience in emerging markets, a proven track record in transaction execution, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities. Permanent work authorization in Kenya is necessary, and willingness to travel up to 30% is required.
