Main Responsibilities
- Country Strategy & Execution: Formulate and execute a business plan responsive to the South African market, focusing on expansion and enterprise engagement.
- Commercial Growth & P&L Leadership: Manage revenue, margin, and P&L for the region while pursuing strategic client acquisitions and renewals.
- Partnership & Ecosystem Development: Forge strong relationships with banks, fintechs, and enterprise clients to enhance our ecosystem.
- Regulatory & Compliance Navigation: Ensure adherence to South African regulations, including FSCA and AML/KYC standards.
- Operational Performance & Customer Success: Oversee customer satisfaction through seamless service delivery and retention strategies.
- Market Insight: Stay informed on market dynamics and competitor activities.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a company representative in industry discussions and with regulatory bodies.
Qualifications
Applicants should have over 8 years in senior leadership roles within fintech or financial services, demonstrated success in regulated markets, and a strong grasp of South African payment regulations.
