Associate Product Manager

Rova is seeking an Associate Product Manager to enhance our essential financial services, including multi-currency accounts, transfers (such as Nigeria remittance), Savings Vaults, and transaction notifications. In this role, you will collaborate with various departments including Product, Design, Engineering, Operations, Compliance, and Support to transform customer challenges into effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage small to medium product initiatives from inception to delivery, including discovery, requirements gathering, and performance measurement.
• Create clear Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Ensure backlog organization using tools like Jira or Linear.
• Work alongside Design teams to develop user flows and wireframes, and validate these with users.
• Coordinate with Engineering to define scope, set milestones, address edge cases, and plan releases.
• Enhance visibility for transfers, alerts, and issue-resolution processes.
• Collaborate with Compliance and Financial Crime teams to address money movement and risk considerations.
• Establish and monitor product success metrics such as activation rates, completion rates, drop-off rates, and reliability.

Qualifications:

• 1–3 years of experience in Product Management (as an Associate Product Manager or Junior PM) or similar roles involving digital product delivery.
• Proficient in writing requirements and analyzing payment-related edge cases.
• Comfortable working with data, including funnels, cohorts, and metrics.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with both technical and non-technical teams.
• Demonstrates high ownership and commitment to follow-through.
