Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively monitor email deliverability and infrastructure health using Postmaster tools and internal dashboards.
- Investigate deliverability issues, collaborating with ISPs and anti-spam organizations to find solutions.
- Manage abuse signals and FBL reports, addressing any phishing or spoofing attempts.
- Safeguard our platform's reputation by identifying at-risk accounts and coordinating with various teams.
- Analyze trends within the platform to enhance overall deliverability.
- Assist customers with authentication setups and best practices while conducting audits to mitigate risks.
- Document processes and knowledge to support team growth and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of experience in email deliverability, preferably in an ESP or high-volume environment.
- Strong understanding of SMTP, DNS records, and email authentication protocols (SPF, DKIM, DMARC).
- Familiarity with major mailbox providers and blocklist management.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex concepts to non-technical users.
- Proficient in managing multiple tasks and prioritizing effectively.
Bonus Skills: SQL experience, involvement with industry organizations such as M3AAWG.
