Role Overview
We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer to enhance, support, and sustain our digital thrift platform, which encompasses backend, frontend, and mobile development. The primary focus of this position is to ensure our systems are stable, reliable, and efficient while implementing ongoing enhancements to the user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and maintain backend services developed with NestJS, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and TypeORM.
- Detect and address bugs, performance challenges, and technical debt across the technology stack.
- Oversee the stability and performance of existing APIs related to savings, payments, and user management.
- Enhance the frontend interface developed with React.
- Assist with the upkeep of the mobile application developed on Flutter, ensuring cross-platform functionality.
- Manage third-party integrations, including payment gateways and financial APIs.
- Ensure data security, compliance, and optimal system performance.
- Produce clean, well-documented code and maintain technical documentation.
- Collaborate with product and design teams to implement minor feature updates.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in Full Stack Development or Software Engineering.
- Proficiency in TypeScript and NestJS for backend development.
- Experience with PostgreSQL and ORMs like TypeORM.
- Understanding of API design and backend systems.
- Hands-on experience with React for frontend development.
- Familiarity with Flutter or similar mobile frameworks.
- Experience in integrating payment systems or financial APIs.
- Knowledge of security best practices in fintech.
- Fintech or digital financial products experience is advantageous.
- Ability to work autonomously and proactively identify issues.
Compensation
₦350,000 – ₦400,000 / month
