Role Overview: We are seeking multiple Product Designers to collaborate with teams at Chess.com, Chessable, and ChessKid. Throughout the interview process, we will work together to identify the team and specific challenges where your skills can make the greatest impact.
Main Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Design teams to define challenges and deliver effective solutions.
- Create user-friendly interfaces for web and mobile applications.
- Utilize and enhance our design system for cohesive user experiences.
- Develop flows, wireframes, and prototypes to visualize concepts.
- Present your designs and rationale based on user needs and data.
- Manage projects from inception to execution, ensuring alignment between design and code.
- Iterate designs based on feedback and user insights.
- Identify areas for product enhancement and implement solutions.
Requirements:
- 2–4 years of experience in product design for consumer-facing products.
- A portfolio highlighting strong UX and UI design skills.
- Proficiency in typography, layout, and interaction design.
- Experience with web and mobile design, and established design systems.
- Familiarity with design-to-code processes and modern design tools (e.g., Figma).
- Strong communication abilities within a remote team setting.
- Attention to detail and a sense of ownership in your tasks.
