Role Overview: As a Project Manager, you will oversee the delivery of our minimum viable product (MVP) and subsequent increments. You will serve as a liaison among business, design, engineering, operations, and marketing teams, managing the project roadmap, backlog, sprint planning, and ensuring high-quality delivery.
Main Responsibilities:
- Translate business objectives into a clear MVP scope and a comprehensive 12-24 month product roadmap.
- Manage the product backlog, including user stories and prioritization, and plan bi-weekly sprints.
- Lead cross-functional teams to ensure timely and quality feature delivery while facilitating agile ceremonies.
- Identify and manage risks, maintain a risk register, and handle scope changes effectively.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations in Nigeria and the surrounding region.
- Collaborate with marketing and partnerships on product launches and onboarding processes.
- Monitor key metrics and provide updates to stakeholders.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of decisions and progress.
Qualifications:
- 5-10+ years of Product/Project Management experience, including 2+ years in marketplace or consumer platforms.
- Proven track record of delivering MVPs in a startup context.
- Strong understanding of local market dynamics, including payment systems and data privacy regulations.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders.
- Experience in hospitality or food tech is preferred.
