Role Overview:
We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to enhance our data infrastructure and architecture, enabling our predictive analytics solutions. This position involves creating robust data pipelines and orchestration frameworks that facilitate efficient data movement.
Main Responsibilities:
- Design and implement data systems to support ML and AI models for health insurance clients, ensuring compliance with healthcare data regulations.
- Develop tools for extracting and processing healthcare data from various sources.
- Collaborate with data scientists to prepare health-related data for modeling, emphasizing quality and integrity.
- Build and maintain ETL processes using SQL, AWS, and healthcare-focused big data technologies.
- Translate complex medical data into actionable requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, or related field with 4+ years of experience.
- Strong familiarity with health and bioinformatics data.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Experience with big data tools (e.g., Apache Spark, Snowflake) and data orchestration frameworks (e.g., Airflow).
- Knowledge of modern DevOps practices and data transformation tools.
