Position Summary: We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our engineering team, reporting to the VP of Engineering. This role will involve managing and optimizing cloud-hosted systems and microservices, including scaling, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
Main Responsibilities:
- Design and enhance infrastructure defined in code (IaC).
- Manage systems for monitoring, alerting, backups, and disaster recovery.
- Guide the architectural direction of our infrastructure.
- Collaborate with engineers to develop fault-tolerant microservices.
- Improve CI/CD pipeline performance and durability.
- Automate provisioning of Kubernetes namespaces.
Requirements:
- 5+ years in DevOps or a related field.
- Extensive experience with Kubernetes and containerization (Docker).
- Strong familiarity with logging, monitoring, and CI/CD practices.
- Proficient with Git and POSIX Operating Systems.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Elasticsearch, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Knowledge of security best practices and SOC 2.
- FinTech experience is a plus.
