Role Summary
We are seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer proficient in JavaScript (TypeScript) and at least one frontend framework to join our Product Engineering team. In this role, you will spearhead technical initiatives, improve domain-level practices, and serve as a key technical resource across projects. Your responsibilities will involve taking ownership of a frontend domain, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and enhancing engineering standards.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop market-ready features for the Storyblok app using modern technologies.
- Manage the entire Software Development Lifecycle, ensuring reliable software delivery.
- Maintain and scale a frontend subsystem while addressing architectural challenges.
- Transform complex technical issues into actionable strategies.
- Elevate engineering standards through code reviews and documentation.
- Mentor team members and assist Engineering Managers with technical decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of frontend engineering experience, with a strong grasp of JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Familiarity with web fundamentals and software testing concepts.
- Experience leading technical initiatives and mentoring peers.
- Excellent communication skills for conveying technical concepts.
- AI literacy and the ability to leverage AI tools effectively.
