Position Overview
We are looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to enhance our testing infrastructure within the Platform Team. This role involves both automated and manual testing to ensure our developers can efficiently and reliably introduce new features.
Main Responsibilities
- Establish a comprehensive testing strategy for our APIs.
- Enhance the developer experience by standardizing tools and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with teams to boost test coverage and speed.
- Mentor product engineers to cultivate a quality-focused culture.
- Conduct load and scalability tests to accommodate increasing user demands.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test or Senior Quality Assurance Engineer.
- Proficient in strongly typed programming languages with at least one year of experience in Go.
- Experience with CI pipelines, particularly GitHub Actions and Google Cloud Build.
- Knowledge of microservices and related testing challenges.
- Familiar with Kubernetes and capable of writing Helm charts.
- Start-up experience and a proactive approach to tasks.
