Smart Contract Engineer

Role Overview: As a Smart Contract Engineer, you will play a crucial role in our Solidity engineering team, focusing on the architecture, delivery, and security of all on-chain code. You will uphold high standards of security and reliability for contracts managing significant TVL and will have the opportunity to impact DeFi’s infrastructure directly.

Main Responsibilities:

• Engage with all Solidity codebases, including upgrade patterns and cross-chain messaging.
• Conduct design reviews, threat modeling, fuzz testing, and formal verification to ensure security.
• Manage the deployment and maintenance of existing vaults and new protocol features.
• Oversee external audits and bug-bounty programs, including on-chain monitoring and incident response.
• Represent Veda at client integrations, conferences, and within the open-source community.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience in software engineering with 2-3 years in production Solidity.
• Proven record of maintaining a contract suite without critical incidents.
• Strong knowledge of EVM internals and smart contract vulnerabilities.
• Familiarity with Foundry and/or Hardhat, and excellent communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in multi-chain DeFi and Rust.
• Background in finance and contributions to open-source security research.
