Role Overview
We are on the lookout for a passionate Software Tools Engineer to join our Autonomy Annotation team. In this position, you will be instrumental in developing, improving, and maintaining the tools essential for data annotation that supports our autonomous systems. Your contributions will directly influence the quality and scalability of the data used to train and validate our autonomous aircraft.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain tools for the annotation team, enhancing internal workflows.
- Collaborate with internal teams to determine requirements for annotation tools.
- Manage integration with external contractors for data annotation, ensuring data security.
- Automate manual processes within annotation workflows to improve efficiency.
- Establish features for tracking annotation quality and progress.
- Document tool versions and maintain quality standards.

Requirements
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Engineering or a related field, with at least 3 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and SQL, along with experience in API integrations and version control, is essential. Strong problem-solving and communication skills are also required.
