Role Overview:
We are in search of a Staff Data Engineer to spearhead the enhancement of our data infrastructure and architecture, integral to our predictive analytics services. This role is pivotal in constructing dependable data pipelines and orchestration frameworks to facilitate seamless data flow across systems.
Main Responsibilities:
- Design and implement data systems that support machine learning and AI initiatives while adhering to healthcare data privacy standards (e.g., HIPAA).
- Develop tools for processing and analyzing diverse healthcare data sources.
- Collaborate with data scientists to prepare large datasets for modeling, ensuring data quality and integrity.
- Maintain ETL infrastructure using SQL, AWS, and industry-specific big data technologies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, or a related field with 7+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong background in healthcare data and familiarity with big data tools like Apache Spark, Databricks, or Snowflake.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Experience with data orchestration tools (Airflow, Dagster) and modern DevOps practices.
