Role Overview:
We are in search of a proactive and skilled Data Analyst to enhance system monitoring within our Systems Engineering team. Collaborating closely with a Senior Data Scientist, you will identify fleet issues, enhance safety, and facilitate Zipline's growth by providing key insights to engineers and senior leadership.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop data analytics solutions, including dashboards and alerting tools, to monitor flight reliability and safety.
- Collaborate with System Engineers to assess the health of hardware and software systems.
- Create SQL and Python scripts to extract performance data from flight logs.
- Maintain shared data models in our data warehouse, ensuring analytics accessibility across the company.
- Assist team members in locating and reporting their data effectively.
Requirements:
Applicants should possess:
- 3+ years of data analysis experience, ideally with hardware-software systems.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI).
- Strong SQL skills for managing large datasets.
- Experience with cloud data platforms like Snowflake.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and multitasking abilities.
- Familiarity with Python for data analysis.
- Willingness to relocate to Kigali, Rwanda.
