Role Overview
The Business Intelligence Analyst will play a crucial role in guiding data-driven decisions within FairMoney’s lending operations. This position involves converting intricate data into actionable insights that enhance credit performance, streamline collections, and elevate customer experiences in Nigeria's evolving fintech landscape.
Main Responsibilities
- Data Analysis & Insight Generation: Examine extensive datasets throughout the lending process to identify trends and opportunities for performance improvement.
- Dashboarding & Reporting: Create and manage real-time dashboards and automate performance reports for consistent tracking.
- Credit & Risk Analytics: Assist in developing credit scoring models and monitor portfolio health metrics.
- Collections & Recovery Analytics: Analyze repayment behaviors to refine collections strategies and support recovery processes.
- Product & Growth Analytics: Collaborate with Product teams to analyze user experiences and recommend optimizations.
- Process Automation & Data Infrastructure: Enhance data pipelines and automate reporting using SQL and Python.
- Regulatory & Compliance Reporting: Ensure adherence to Central Bank of Nigeria guidelines in data reporting.
Requirements
Candidates should have over 2 years of experience in Business Intelligence or Data Analytics, preferably in fintech or banking. Proficiency in SQL is essential, along with experience in Python or R, and familiarity with BI tools like Power BI or Tableau. Strong analytical skills and the ability to convey insights effectively are crucial.
