Pulse Kenya is seeking a Digital Sales Strategist to enhance commercial opportunities with prominent brands across Africa and beyond. This role involves delivering innovative marketing solutions that highlight our storytelling capabilities and extensive media reach. As a key member of our sales team, you'll need to effectively network, strategically address business challenges, and develop compelling value propositions to boost sales and revenue for Pulse.

Pulse is a leading media company in Africa, engaging the continent's youth and delivering creative content and marketing solutions for top brands. We operate news platforms and social media channels in Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, and Uganda, reaching over 100 million users and generating more than 100 million video views monthly. Additionally, Pulse serves as the regional publisher for Business Insider Africa.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and pursue business opportunities while developing effective strategies for pitching our services.
Build high-level contacts and adhere to the established sales process to contribute to team goals.
Close sales deals, achieve targets, and positively influence company revenue.
Maintain strong client relationships and provide outstanding service and support.
Collaborate with project teams to ensure customer objectives are met.
Engage with clients to identify upselling or new business prospects.

Qualifications:

Experience in B2B sales or business development.
Understanding of digital media and marketing.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Proven relationship-building abilities.
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or similar qualifications preferred.
Completed courses in digital marketing are a plus if lacking direct experience.
