Public Health Implementation Officer

Our products, such as HeliumOS and HeliumCares, support various healthcare initiatives, including a multi-state maternal health program aimed at improving access to essential health information and care.

We are currently seeking a Public Health Implementation Officer for Oyo State. This role involves coordinating implementation activities, engaging stakeholders, monitoring program performance, and ensuring targets are met.

Main Responsibilities:

• Manage state-level project implementation according to established workplans and quality standards.
• Oversee user recruitment strategies, coordinating outreach and onboarding efforts.
• Supervise community health workers (CHWs) and field personnel, setting performance targets and providing ongoing support.
• Engage with healthcare facilities to facilitate program activities and recruitment.
• Act as the primary liaison with government stakeholders and maintain effective relationships.
• Coordinate training and capacity-building for CHWs and facility staff.
• Monitor program performance, maintain accurate records, and prepare regular reports.
• Ensure compliance with program protocols and ethical standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Nursing, or a related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in public health program implementation.
• Strong skills in stakeholder management, communication, and organizational tasks.
• Willingness to travel within Oyo State.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of local languages is a plus.
