Position Overview

Main Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering a high-performance engineering culture.
- Oversee the technical direction and implementation of systems for lending and credit products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical solutions and prioritize deliverables.
- Design and scale reliable backend services and distributed systems.
- Participate in architectural decisions, ensuring solutions are maintainable and resilient.
- Establish engineering standards for code quality, deployment, and system reliability.
- Support engineers with guidance, code reviews, and complex problem-solving.
- Identify and mitigate technical debt and performance issues.
- Manage planning and delivery of engineering initiatives with a focus on metrics.
- Engage in hiring efforts and contribute to team building.
Requirements
- 7+ years in software engineering, with substantial backend development experience.
- 2+ years in engineering management or team leadership.
- Familiarity with AI native development and hands-on coding capabilities.
- Experience in fintech, lending, or payments.
- Strong skills in database design, system architecture, and distributed systems.
- Proficient in software development practices and CI/CD.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
