Role Overview:
As a Senior Data Engineer, you will bridge data engineering, platform engineering, and applied AI. You will create data pipelines and services that facilitate AI use cases while ensuring data accessibility and security. This role requires you to work remotely within UTC−6 to UTC+3.
Main Responsibilities:
- Design data pipelines and platform capabilities for AI applications.
- Maintain data ingestion, transformation, and retrieval processes.
- Develop secure methods for AI systems to access enterprise data.
- Create reusable services and tooling for engineering teams.
- Collaborate with other teams to transition AI prototypes to production.
- Ensure compliance with security and data governance standards.
Requirements:
- 5+ years in data or platform engineering, with experience in production systems.
- Proficient in Python and SQL.
- Familiarity with Snowflake, Databricks, and data orchestration tools.
- Hands-on experience with AI technologies, including LLMs and generative AI.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate across teams.
