Join The Global Talent Co. as a Video Annotator to assist with a Vision-Language-Action (VLA) dataset initiative. In this fully remote position, you will view short video clips of various physical tasks and create detailed annotations by breaking down each video into coherent steps, accompanied by clear, natural-language instructions that describe the actions occurring in each segment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • View videos in their entirety to gain context before starting the annotation process.
  • Divide videos into distinct, logical segments based on visible actions.
  • Craft concise and grammatically correct descriptions for each segment, ensuring accuracy in representation.
  • Maintain consistency in tone, tense, and phrasing throughout the dataset.
  • Assign precise start and end timestamps for each segment.
  • Adhere to provided annotation guidelines and style guides.
  • Identify and report any problematic videos that may hinder the annotation process.
  • Engage in calibration sessions and apply feedback from quality assurance reviews to enhance the quality of annotations.
  • Achieve daily and weekly productivity goals while ensuring accuracy.
  • Safeguard the confidentiality of all project-related information.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proficient in English (C1 level or above) with strong grammar and vocabulary skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to notice subtle visual changes.
  • Effective written communication skills for clear action descriptions.
  • Familiarity with video annotation tools (training will be provided).
  • Ability to work independently and adhere to detailed instructions.
  • Reliable internet and access to a computer with a modern browser.
  • Basic computer skills, including file management and using web-based tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in data annotation, transcription, or content moderation.
  • Knowledge of AI/ML concepts, particularly in computer vision or NLP.
  • Background in writing instructional content.
  • Familiarity with annotation platforms like CVAT or Label Studio.
