Position: Finance Manager

Your expertise will be vital in managing finances for a rapidly scaling business that provides essential assets like smartphones and solar power systems to millions of customers lacking access to credit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee financial management, including monthly reporting, IFRS compliance, and treasury operations.
- Manage the complete monthly closing process and produce variance analysis to assess market-specific impacts.
- Monitor loan performance and repayment behavior, managing provisioning and bad debt trends.
- Collaborate with the commercial team to evaluate unit economics and contribute to product launch strategies.
- Support statutory reporting and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Chartered Accountant (ACCA, CPA(U), CA, or equivalent) with a strong finance management background.
- In-depth knowledge of IFRS standards, particularly IFRS 9 and IFRS 16, with experience managing audits.
- Excellent financial modeling and communication skills, able to present complex data effectively.
- Experience from a Big 4 firm is preferred; familiarity with Uganda's fintech landscape is a plus.
