Job Role
We are seeking a Lead Risk Manager & Portfolio Owner to oversee FairMoney’s Android Quick Loans portfolio in Nigeria. This role is akin to a mini-CEO for the portfolio, responsible for its commercial and operational outcomes.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage the Android business plan and strategic roadmap.
  • Analyze portfolio performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Oversee credit strategy, including origination, repeat eligibility, and risk management.
  • Design and execute controlled experiments to enhance portfolio offerings.
  • Lead a senior credit-strategy team and foster collaboration across various departments.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in consumer credit risk or lending portfolio management.
  • Proven success in managing a significant lending portfolio, with a focus on revenue and risk.
  • Strong understanding of credit metrics and experience in digital unsecured lending.
  • Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with Python or similar analytical tools.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
