Job Overview: The Defective Team Leader plays a crucial role in managing customer returns through meticulous evaluation of claims and product details, ensuring efficient inventory flow among warehouses, vendors, and customers.
Main Responsibilities:
- Oversee receiving, reconciliation, and inventory management within the defective warehouse.
- Conduct quality checks on items to validate customer claims and properly categorize damages.
- Maintain accurate inventory records exclusively for defective stock.
- Process and log defective packages promptly within the warehouse system.
- Monitor processes to minimize inventory losses while tracking all stored items.
- Manage the queue and physical arrangement of items in transit.
- Lead performance management, including team appraisals and training on inventory processes.
- Propose improvements to enhance operational efficiency and inventory accuracy.
- Report inventory discrepancies or operational issues to management promptly.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Office Suite.
- Experience in FMCG, warehouse or order management, and quality control is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- NYSC certificate or valid exemption letter.
