Position Overview
The Senior Security Analyst serves as the leading security expert at Ozow, responsible for safeguarding our systems and data integrity, availability, and confidentiality. Reporting to the Infrastructure Manager, this role focuses on developing and enhancing our security program, requiring a technical professional who thrives on both challenging and securing systems.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the security roadmap in collaboration with the Infrastructure Manager, prioritizing based on risk and business impact.
- Establish security standards and testing methodologies, mentoring engineering teams in their execution.
- Conduct hands-on penetration testing and lead adversary simulations to evaluate defensive capabilities.
- Oversee security operations, including the selection and implementation of security tools and incident response coordination.
- Manage vulnerability across cloud infrastructure and applications, ensuring compliance with security baselines.
- Drive automation in security processes and integrate security practices within engineering workflows.
- Lead technical audit workstreams and support internal security policy development.
Requirements
Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience, along with over 8 years in cybersecurity. A deep understanding of penetration testing and vulnerability management, as well as familiarity with ISO 27001, NIST, and PCI DSS, is essential. Preferred qualifications include OSCP, OSCE, or AWS Security Specialty certifications.
