Role Overview:
The position involves leading the regional portfolio strategy and annual operating plan for designated products, focusing on growth strategies, market expansion, and product lifecycle management. The successful candidate will align local execution with the global brand strategy.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement marketing strategies across various countries, including promotional campaigns and digital initiatives.
- Localize marketing materials while ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Monitor and optimize marketing campaigns based on feedback and results.
- Act as the product expert for sales teams, providing tools and training to enhance their effectiveness.
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics.
- Develop annual forecasts and manage regional marketing budgets.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, nursing, medicine, biological sciences, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 7-10 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales and marketing, with 3-5 years in product or brand management.
- Experience across multiple African markets and in promoting women’s or reproductive health products preferred.
- Strong competencies in strategic thinking, market analytics, project leadership, and communication skills.
