Position: Alliances & Channels Leader
Canonical, a leading name in open-source software, is on the lookout for an Alliances & Channels Leader to drive business development and forge partnerships across the global tech scene. Our flagship platform, Ubuntu, plays a vital role in various fields, including public cloud, AI, and IoT.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate and execute partner strategies aimed at boosting revenue and market presence.
- Build and nurture strategic relationships with global and regional partners at the executive level.
- Work collaboratively with sales, product management, and marketing teams to develop joint go-to-market strategies.
- Enhance partner capabilities through targeted training, joint marketing efforts, and comprehensive business planning.
- Oversee pipeline governance, ensuring accountability within complex partnerships.
Requirements:
- Over 10 years of experience in alliance, channel, or indirect sales management.
- Familiarity with GSIs, VARs, ISVs, and cloud technologies.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders from engineers to CxOs.
- Thorough understanding of open source, cloud, AI, and market trends.
- Proven history of data-driven decision-making and successful execution in global environments.
- Fluency in business-level English, both written and spoken.
