Main Responsibilities:
- Design, deliver, and support features within a sophisticated, distributed system for cloud automation.
- Engage collaboratively with a geographically diverse team.
- Debug and resolve issues, contributing to upstream community interactions.
- Coach and develop team members to enhance team capabilities.
- Travel for internal and external events 2 to 4 weeks annually.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in professional software delivery using Go.
- Proven skills in developing distributed systems.
- Strong English communication abilities, particularly online.
- Solid academic background with a preference for university education.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and willingness to travel.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Background in C, C++, or Rust.
- Knowledge of cloud computing and Linux systems.
- Experience with configuration management and open source contributions.
