Role Overview
We are seeking a Cloud FinOps Analyst to facilitate a comprehensive cloud financial management initiative. This role will ensure that FinOps resources, dashboards, reports, and cost insights are user-friendly and accessible for approximately 12,000 internal users within a large enterprise. You will be tasked with organizing and maintaining assets within Apptio Cloudability and other client platforms, ensuring clarity for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage and curate Cloudability assets, including dashboards and reports.
- Maintain an up-to-date catalog of team-created dashboards.
- Design and implement an effective organizational structure for dashboards.
- Develop a strategy for validating the dashboard library’s accuracy and consistency.
- Validate Cloudability metrics against source data and document their origins.
- Test new features and report regressions in Cloudability.
- Drive improvements and track issues to resolution.
- Facilitate the adoption of UI changes to meet evolving business needs.
Requirements
Applicants should have hands-on experience with Cloudability, familiarity with AWS or GCP billing data, and a solid grasp of FinOps principles. Experience in creating and governing BI dashboards is essential, along with a methodical approach to testing and implementation. Nice-to-haves include FinOps certification and SQL skills.
