Role Overview
We are seeking a Security Operations Engineer to join our Security Operations Centre (SOC). This fully remote, technical position encompasses security alert design, triage, automated responses, and cloud security posture management in AWS and EKS environments. Reporting to the Associate Director of Product & Infrastructure Security, you will collaborate with teams across Application Security, DevOps, and Engineering.

Main Responsibilities

• Manage the entire security detection and response lifecycle within the SOC.
• Design and maintain SIEM detection rules, ensuring coverage across cloud and container environments.
• Conduct daily SIEM alert triage, investigating and classifying security signals.
• Develop and maintain automated response workflows using SOAR.
• Oversee vulnerability management and identity governance in cloud environments.
• Implement posture tracking and reporting, collecting Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) across SOC and cloud domains.

Requirements
Applicants should have 3-5 years of experience in security operations or cloud security, with hands-on AWS and Kubernetes expertise. Proficiency in SIEM operations, vulnerability management, and incident response is essential. Familiarity with compliance frameworks and scripting in Python or Bash is preferred.
