Position Summary
We are seeking a Head of Engineering, Supply Chain to lead our efforts in Kenya. This role is crucial as we build our operations from the ground up, focusing on software that manages POS hardware systems, logistics, inventory, and maintenance workflows. The successful candidate will oversee a distributed engineering team and define the technical strategy for our supply chain software, ensuring operational data integrity across various markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the technical strategy and architecture for inventory and logistics systems.
• Manage a team of approximately 25 engineers across various functions.
• Enhance visibility and reliability of operational data for millions of devices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate operational needs into technical solutions.
• Recruit and mentor engineering managers and senior engineers.

Qualifications
Applicants should possess 10-15 years of software engineering experience, with at least 5 years in leadership roles. A solid background in Java development and extensive experience in supply chain or logistics software is essential. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in managing large teams and effective stakeholder engagement.
