Position Overview

Y Combinator (YC) is seeking dedicated individuals to join our small team in San Francisco, focused on empowering founders to create the next big startups like Airbnb and Stripe. Role Highlights

In this role, you will contribute to managing the YC program through software development. The Bookface team is key in creating essential tools for founders during and after their batches, including:

  • Bookface: A platform for managing daily batch activities such as events, office hours, and pitch preparation.
  • Forums & Alumni Directory: A resource for founders to seek advice on startup challenges including fundraising and customer acquisition.
  • Demo Day Portal: Facilitating connections between founders and investors for seed funding.
  • Launch YC: A public platform designed to help YC founders obtain early customer feedback.

Team Dynamics

You will be part of a close-knit team of 15 full-stack engineers, many with backgrounds from major tech companies. We prioritize rapid shipping and regular customer interaction. Our technology stack includes Rails, React, and Postgres, and we value a passion for front-end development.

Location & Compensation

This is an in-person role at our Dogpatch campus in San Francisco. Candidates should reside in the SF Bay Area or be willing to relocate, with relocation assistance available. Compensation ranges from $250K to $500K, alongside a profit-sharing program and comprehensive benefits.
