Role Overview: Artisan is seeking Builders to develop AI products from conception to production. This role involves understanding customer challenges, defining product functionality, designing user experiences, and implementing code. You will collaborate directly with our CEO, Jaspar, and use your skills to transform vague problems into effective solutions.

Main Responsibilities:

• Engage with customers to identify and analyze their pain points.
• Define product specifications, design user interfaces, and prioritize features for rapid shipping.
• Develop and launch production features using TypeScript and React, leveraging AI coding tools for efficiency.
• Monitor product performance, investigate user challenges, and enhance the overall experience.
• Maintain and improve the systems you develop, addressing bugs and simplifying code for future engineers.
• Collaborate with team members on shared infrastructure and workflows.

Requirements:

• Experience in taking a product from idea to launch, with the ability to discuss your decisions and outcomes.
• Proficient in TypeScript and React, capable of navigating existing codebases.
• Strong judgment in product design and usability.
• Experience in outbound sales and understanding of user challenges with tools.
• Ability to take initiative, defend product choices, and adapt based on feedback.
• Quick decision-making and accountability for product quality and user satisfaction.
