Position Summary

We are seeking a Senior Generalist Engineer to join our Research & Development Team. This role requires an engineer who can manage projects from inception to completion, delivering fully functional production systems across software, distributed systems, infrastructure, data, and machine learning. Candidates should possess strong analytical skills, technical acumen, and the ability to collaborate effectively to resolve challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop reliable, scalable production systems.
• Oversee projects from problem identification to deployment and operations.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across various technical layers.
• Make informed engineering decisions based on first principles.
• Enhance performance, reliability, and cost efficiency of systems.
• Contribute to technical architecture and documentation.
• Utilize machine learning judiciously and effectively.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in computer science (data structures, algorithms, networking).
• Experience in building scalable production systems.
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages (Go, Java, Python, etc.).
• Familiarity with Linux, containers, and Kubernetes.
• Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.
