This role is fully remote, focusing on EMEA and Americas regions.
As a Junior Developer, you will be instrumental in creating a cloud-native monitoring stack utilizing top open-source monitoring tools. Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating effectively with a distributed team
- Writing, testing, and documenting high-quality code for new features
- Debugging and engaging with our vibrant community
- Reviewing code from fellow engineers
- Representing Canonical at conferences
We seek candidates who are passionate about technology and possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. You should have strong skills in Python and a working knowledge of Go. Experience with Ubuntu Linux, container images, and distributed systems is advantageous.
