Role Overview:
As a Software Engineer, you will collaborate closely with our CTO in a clean, AI-native environment, gaining hands-on experience in backend, frontend, and AI pipeline development. This position is tailored for those with 1-3 years of experience or recent graduates with significant project work, emphasizing practical skills over tenure.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop features end-to-end, from backend systems to user interfaces using technologies like React, Node/Express, Postgres, and AWS.
- Engage in AI development from the outset, focusing on prompt engineering and AI evaluations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production bugs using tools such as Sentry and CloudWatch.
- Receive mentorship and engage in code reviews to enhance your technical skills and ownership of features.
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of software engineering experience or strong university projects.
- Proficiency in TypeScript and/or JavaScript.
- Willingness to learn across the full stack and a user-first development mindset.
- Familiarity with AI tools is a plus; German language skills at B1 or above are advantageous.
