Position Summary
We are looking for a talented and driven System Administrator to enhance our team in Port Harcourt, Nigeria. This onsite role is key to ensuring the stability, security, and performance of our IT infrastructure, which includes network and server management as well as end-user support.
Main Responsibilities
- Design and maintain robust IT infrastructure and optimize server systems.
- Oversee network administration, including configuration and troubleshooting of routers, switches, and security protocols.
- Develop automation scripts using Python, PowerShell, and Bash to streamline operations.
- Implement IT security measures and manage user access and authentication.
- Provide technical support to users, ensuring efficient issue resolution.
- Perform regular system maintenance, updates, and optimizations.
Qualifications
Applicants should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field and possess 3-5 years of relevant experience. Familiarity with various operating systems, networking, and automation tools is essential. Relevant certifications are preferred.
