About the Position: We are on the lookout for an Analytics Engineer to take charge of our data transformation layer. This role is crucial in managing our data platform, which processes vast amounts of data daily. As part of our fully remote team, you will collaborate with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and Business Users to create scalable data models using dbt and Trino on our GCP-based infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain scalable data models to support various business operations.
- Establish best practices for data modeling, ensuring integrity and discoverability.
- Work closely with finance, operations, and marketing teams to deliver reliable data products.
- Create integrated data models for BI tools and standardize metric reporting.
- Promote high development standards through effective change management and code reviews.
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years in analytics or data engineering with a focus on transformation.
- Proficient in SQL, DBT, and Python; experienced in query optimization.
- Familiarity with CI/CD workflows, version control, and cloud environments.
