Job Title: Monitoring and Evaluation Lead
Location: Manyara, Kagera, and Tabora
Reports To: Senior Strategic Results Manager
Classification: Full-time (3 positions available)
The Monitoring and Evaluation Lead will be pivotal in enhancing the projects of the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation (EGPAF) in Tanzania, focusing on HIV/AIDS and TB initiatives. This role entails close collaboration with Regional and Council Health Management Teams (R/CHMT), facility staff, and technical teams to track and report on project indicators, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets. The Lead will also spearhead the development and implementation of EGPAF's digital health systems across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and ensure the availability of national and program data and M&E tools.
- Design and implement evaluation studies relevant to program objectives.
- Lead the Regional M&E Team, ensuring they are well-equipped for routine M&E tasks.
- Organize Data Review Meetings and respond to regional data inquiries.
- Conduct Data Quality Assessments and ensure compliance with program standards.
- Collaborate with project personnel and health providers for timely and accurate reporting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Statistics, Public Health, or related fields; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in monitoring HIV/AIDS and TB programs.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data management.
- Familiarity with health information systems such as DHIS2 and CTC2.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
