Position Title: Senior Technical Advisor - TB Services
Location: Dar es Salaam
Job Overview: The Senior Technical Advisor for TB Services will enhance and optimize EGPAF's TB and TB/HIV initiatives, ensuring effective and sustainable program implementation. This role involves providing advanced technical support, mentorship, and supervision for TB-related activities while fostering innovative approaches for high-quality integrated TB services across various regions, councils, and health facilities.
Main Responsibilities:
- Deliver strategic and technical leadership in TB service implementation, adhering to national guidelines and priorities.
- Guide the project team in documenting and sharing best practices for TB and TB/HIV collaborative efforts.
- Enhance TB case finding, diagnosis, and treatment, ensuring adherence to protocols across different platforms.
- Facilitate the integration of TB and HIV services and improve accessibility for vulnerable populations.
- Lead data analysis and performance monitoring, utilizing insights for targeted improvements in service delivery.
- Provide tailored technical assistance and training to strengthen the capacity of health teams and facilities.
- Coordinate efforts with various stakeholders to harmonize TB interventions and report on program performance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Medicine, Nursing, Clinical Medicine, Public Health, or related field; Master’s degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in program management and HIV/AIDS implementation in developing countries.
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills.
