About the role

Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated individual to support the implementation of the JDS scholarship project in collaboration with Japanese officials. This role involves a variety of tasks centered around recruitment, coordination, and administrative duties.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist in executing the JDS scholarship initiative.
  • Facilitate the recruitment and selection process for scholars.
  • Support logistics for sending scholars to universities in Japan.
  • Engage with project stakeholders, including government officials and organizations in Kenya and Japan.
  • Handle accounting tasks such as invoice collection and management.
  • Perform secretarial duties including data entry, document drafting, and management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • A minimum of 3 years of office-related experience.

  • Ability to foster relationships with stakeholders and scholars.
